Sustainability has gained a lot of importance in the hotel sector, that is why in Seasun Hotels we have low energy consumption taps.
In our rooms the energy is activated by the card given at check-in, resulting in lower energy consumption.
The air conditioning has an energy saving system and has a sensor on the windows of the rooms, which, if open, prevents its operation.
We have incorporated a heat recovery system for the entire hot water circuit, thus avoiding excess energy consumption.
The main attraction of Sa Coma is its beach and Sa Punta de n'Amer , a Natural Area of Special Interest (ANEI) that separates Cala Millor from this area. Its beach, more than 800 metres long, is characterised by its fine white sand, clear waters and quality tourist services.
Sa Coma was born as a tourist and residential development in the eighties, when the first hotels and apartments were built. It also has an important commercial and service offer: shops, pharmacies, stores, supermarkets, a weekly market every Wednesday from 19h. from May to October and numerous leisure attractions, bars, restaurants, most of international cuisine, spa centres and sports facilities.
Sa Coma has a bicycle path that runs from Port Vell in the north and follows the entire coast and the Sa Coma promenade to S'Illot in the south. The tourist train service also runs through Sa Coma, linking this area with the other towns; it also has a public bus service, easy access by road and parking areas.
From the beach you can see one of the most important resources of the area, Sa Punta de n'Amer, one of the privileged natural enclaves of our destination CALA MILLOR MALLORCA. It is one of the most appreciated attractions for the visitor; you can enjoy this space contemplating the native flora and fauna and make excursions on foot or by bicycle. One of the must-see visits is "El Castell", a defence tower that was part of the defence network of the island of Mallorca. It is a peculiar tower, with a square base and built between the 16th and 17th centuries. The paths are easy to walk and the rocky coastline allows you to take baths away from the more crowded beaches. Another attraction of this town is its promenade, which runs parallel to the beach and links the towns of Sa Coma and s'Illot.
Sa Coma's fiestas are held in mid-July and are notable for offering a wide range of activities for tourists and residents alike: Multicultural Fair, concerts and sports activities.
Avoid sunbathing during the central hours of the day (12:00 to 17:00), as well as prolonged exposure or naps. Reduce parts of the body exposed directly to the sun. Lightweight pieces, thickly knitted shirts and long pants will block most of the sun’s radiation. The most comfortable pieces for hot climates are light-colored cotton shirts. Clothing should be comfortable and not too tight. It is recommended to cover the head with hats or caps. The sun can also damage the eyes, so it is advisable to use approved sunglasses that filter at least 90% of the ultraviolet radiation. Use sunscreen products with a high factor and appropriate to your age, skin type and body area. These sunscreens should be applied in generous amounts 30 minutes before exposure to the sun.
